Tech-News: Google Search by Voice
Google search will now be able to support more than taps on the keyboard.
The company is bringing features to the desktop that is first seen on smartphones, like the voice search.
The voice search technology attempts to recognize accents and context and encode them into text.
The voice feature has already began showing up to some users and is seen in the right of the google search box. The said features will only be available for the google chrome browser at the moment but they said they are expecting the other browsers to support the feature. Of course, the computer needs to have a built-in microphone, or the user needs a headset or microphone, in order for the service to work.
Google is shipping out the feature this week, some users will see it sooner than the others. It is only available in US English at the moment.
